"I have been with state farm for my rental properties for the last 15 years. They sold me policies without code upgrade insurance and I was/am severely underinsured for my turn of the century properties. One of my properties was burnt down by an arsonist. The property will cost $800,000+ to rebuild, but state farm has offered me $100,000, which is about enough for the permits and demolition. I have been working for 8 months now just to get all the policy documents from them. Once you have a loss, the agent is not your friend. Don't let this happen to you - find an agent who has your interests at heart and gives you full coverage. They are super-responsive if they need something from you but as soon as you have a major loss - they act in bad faith and refer everything - including the policy they sold me - to the adjuster whose entire purpose seems to be to not pay out. Here is my rental property in Nampa (pictures), the mess you see is what I paid a contractor $55K because state farm continues to push that this house - burned and flooded with water throughout the structure-can be remodelled. City says no. Engineer says no. My husband and I are in the middle of this mess. I'm writing this review so that you won't make the same mistake."

"This is not factual information. The property was not built or permitted to code prior to the loss. We rebuild the home to the prior condition not upgraded to meet codes that were not in place prior to a loss. You are aware of the many issues with the multiple tenants, lack of maintenance and other issues. If you read the many other reviews you will see my agency is always there for clients. Claims is still waiting on timely documentation and responses from to move forward "

"I have been with State Farm 10+ years. Started in South Florida and when I moved to Idaho, googled State Farm agencies.
Called the one closest to me at that time and I got SO LUCKY!
I did get a very reasonable price 😁
Kathy Chambers and her team are the BEST In’s. Agency I have EVER dealt with hands down!
Kathy personally has called me re: an accident, just to check on me!
She answers phones when they are busy!
She is amazing as well as her staff.
